An Evidence Synthesis of Interventions to Improve Therapeutic Communications between BME patients and clinicians working in psychiatric settings.

This HTA funded project sets out to gather and synthesis the best evidence for which interventions improve therapeutic communications for people from black and minority ethnic groups who encounter specialist psychiatric care.  The notion of therapeutic communication is broad, and will include cultural competence, cultural consultation, narrative and any novel interventions that have been evaluated.

The project began on Feb 1st 2012.
